The waste management industry often struggles with being perceived as faceless and interchangeable. Enviro Waste Management is a family-owned, Melbourne-based construction waste management company that has been servicing the residential construction industry for over 20 years. A lot has changed for the industry over the last two decades – and with a management reshuffle in 2024 that saw son Daniel take the company reins, there was a recognised need to evolve the brand to better reflect their commitment to quality service, site safety and environmental sustainability.

Oracle Tree was brought onboard to revitalise the company’s brand, with a brief to create a stronger, more distinctive presence in the industry whilst paying homage to a proud past.

The new identity needed to be bold (like their revised vision for the future) whilst remaining approachable and easy to remember for their long-standing clients. The reimagined brandmark combines both the letters “E” and “W” into a modified hexagonal shape, designed to stand out in an industry where generic symbols dominate.

Proper emphasis on ‘Enviro’ and diminished emphasis on ‘Waste’ was included to give equal visual importance to both elements of the brand name. The use of the new primary brand colour of ‘Enviro Teal’ was chosen to break away from the industry typical ‘green’ as a way to further enhance visibility and brand recognition.

The redesign of Enviro Waste Management’s website was crucial in communicating the brand’s refreshed identity while improving the overall user experience. With a clean, intuitive layout and seamless navigation, the website makes it easy for users to discover the company’s services and values. Custom photography, showcasing real-life scenarios of their work, adds authenticity and trust, while interactive elements like clear calls-to-action and a responsive design ensure that the user experience is aligned with the brand’s core values of accessibility and reliability.

And with a new brand identity and online personality launched, it was time to get the message out there! To ensure a consistent brand voice was being delivered across all channels, we designed them a social media marketing strategy that focused on sharp graphics, videos of the team in action and thought-leadership content that focused on driving innovation and change for both the waste management and construction industries as a whole.
